Joanna Walker has been at Evercore for 5 years, where she was previously an associate recruiting manager. Prior to Evercore, Walker was a talent acquisition manager for IMS Consulting Group and held various human resource roles at Macquarie Group. Walker has a Bachelor’s in English, Anthropology, Leadership from the University of Denver where she was a member of the Pioneer Leadership Program, Delta Zeta and DU Alpine Club.

Gemma has over 14 years’ experience in early careers talent (graduate, student and apprentice) and talent management. Spanning the whole life cycle of early careers attraction, recruitment, development and retention with a particular interest in diversity and social mobility. Gemma studied her undergraduate degree, BA European Union Studies with Law, at the University of Leeds and went on to complete her MSc International Relations at the University of Bristol. Post-graduation she started her career in recruitment, moving quickly from agency recruitment to Early Careers recruitment in the Finance industry.
